A FILM CAMERA CAMPAIGN AD

A common saying among the youth today is that they were "born in the wrong era" and therefore completely dismissing the discrimination and restrictions that were in place during those earlier times.

The core element of this advert was therefore to play on that concept by showcasing scenarios where we bring the best of the past to the present times. 

The advertisement shows a gay couple indulging in the unrestricted freedom that we have today with the help of the past (the film camera). It also encourage sentimentality over status as the young couple aren't focused on taking the best photos for their social media but instead are enjoying the experience of using a film camera.

FOR THE SAKE OF COLOUR
A COLOUR LAUNDRY DETERGENT AD 

This campaign was used to advertise OMO's colour-maintaining laundry detergent. I came up with the idea of using real life stories from the public about what colour means to them. The public could submit their stories to us for our advertisements or could post it on social media with the hashtag "#forthesakeofcolour." The public would then vote for their favourite colour story at the end of the campaign and the winner would receive gifts such as a personalised clothing item from a big local fashion designer etc. The second part of the campaign was to put digital screens, with cameras, in popular areas with a highly saturated filter. This was to show the public that with Omo, life is "full of colour".
